Data Center Audit (DCA) is an Open source web based IT inventory asset management configuration management database (CMDB) web application designed for auditing, planning, and the organization of inventory within a data center. DCA is targeted for small to medium size data centers because it is a simple IT solution "By and For System Administrators."
DCA is non-intrusive, non-agent based, non network probing and therefore secure. DCA is designed to be 'thin' and therefore non system resource intensive. DCA includes the option to install a web server, so it may be run locally or remotely from any desktop or laptop and is a quick and easy solution systems engineers looking to perform a site audit during a deployment.

DCA allows you to view details and availability status for data center equipment based on:

• Host (or device) name
• Model type and name
• Operating System
• Network Adapter
(driver & firmware level)
• Switch
(port & firmware level)
• Storage
(port & code level)
• Rack location and order
